Don Bosco Gatenga TSS Green Club Students Lead Campus Clean-Up As they head in holidays

Students at Don Bosco Gatenga TSS took matters into their own hands on March 22, 2024, as they embarked on a campus-wide clean-up activities. Led by  members of the Green Club in collaboration with the Gender Matters for Green TVET project, the students worked tirelessly to ensure that their school grounds were left spotless before the start of the holidays.

The initiative aimed to promote environmental protection and raise awareness about the importance of waste management. By taking the lead in organizing the clean-up, the students hoped to set a positive example for their peers and inspire them to take action in caring for their environment.

Throughout the day, the students could be seen picking up litter, sweeping walkways, and tidying up communal areas. Their hard work and dedication paid off, as the campus was left looking pristine by the end of the day.

The event was a success, with students expressing pride in their accomplishment and a newfound sense of responsibility towards their school and the environment. As they head into the holidays, they hope that their efforts will encourage others to join them in their mission to create a cleaner and greener campus.

Overall, the clean-up campaign at Don Bosco Gatenga TSS served as a shining example of how students can come together to make a positive impact on their surroundings.
