Kamuli: SRHR joint mission visit

SRHR Joint Mission visit took place on 7^TH November 2023 in partnership with Kamuli Local Government, Donors Agencies and implementing partners. Participants had the opportunity to visit St. Joseph Vocational Training Centre Kamuli under the Gender Matters for Green TVET Programme with funding from the Austrian Development Cooperation and Jugend Eine Welt.

SRHR Joint Mission visit focused on issues of increasing cases of teenage pregnancy in Kamuli district. The discussions further explored opportunities for skilling child mothers and Don Bosco was looked at as a suitable partner in TVET under the programme Gender Matters for Green TVET, a four years programme from 2023 to 2026 being implemented in five Don Bosco TVET Centres in Uganda and Rwanda namely; St. Joseph VTC Kamuli, Don Bosco VTC Bombo, Don Bosco VTC Palabek, Don Bosco TSS Gatenga and Don Bosco TSS Muhazi.
