Bombo: PSHEA Policy Validation Workshop

Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse (PSHEA) workshop took place from 6^TH to 7^TH November 2023 at Don Bosco VTC Bombo. The purpose of the workshop was to validate the draft PSHEA Policy and Mechanism that was developed after the PSHEA assessment in five Don Bosco TVET Centres of Muhazi, Gatenga, Palabek, Bombo and Kamuli. The purpose of the PSHEA Policy is to create a safe learning environment for girls and young women, boys and young men in Don Bosco TVET Centres.

The workshop was attended by key stakeholders from five Don Bosco TVET Centres of Muhazi, Gatenga, Palabek, Bombo and Kamuli. Participants engaged in interactive sessions led by the consultant Jenipher Taaka.

This is under the programme Gender Matters for Green TVET, a four years programme from 2023 to 2026 being implemented in five Don Bosco TVET Centres in Uganda and Rwanda namely; St. Joseph VTC Kamuli, Don Bosco VTC Bombo, Don Bosco VTC Palabek, Don Bosco TSS Gatenga and Don Bosco TSS Muhazi.
