JUGEND EINE WELT LIGHTS UP DON BOSCO PRIMARY SCHOOL NAMUGONGO WITH SOLAR ENERGY IN UGANDA

Jugend Eine Welt through the Planning and Development Office (PDO) lights up Don Bosco Primary School Namugongo with solar energy. The solar system was installed by graduates of the solar scholarship program from St. Joseph VTC Kamuli and Don Bosco VTC Bombo as part of their ongoing mentorship program

A total of thirty graduates participated in the four days training and installation from 16TH to 19TH August 2022 at Don Bosco Namugongo and were joined by their instructors. A solar system of 5.0KW was installed to power Don Bosco Primary School. The solar system will provide reliable power thus enabling the school to solve the challenge of power black outs. This will contribute to improving pupils’ academic performance, security for the school and promotion of environmental conservation.

Thanks to our development partners Jugend Eine Welt and Vita Activa Foundation for the financial support.
