Don Bosco Muhazi celebrates WED2022
pdoThe Environment Club at the Don Bosco Muhazi Technical and Vocational Training School celebrated Monday, June 6, 2022 the World Environment Day (WED), which is usually celebrated annually on June 5.
The festivities were marked by the planting of trees including fruit trees and other tree species to fight against erosion and to maintain the quality of the air we breathe.
In addition, the members of the environmental protection club, together with their teachers, cleaned the road towards the school and visited the surroundings of Lake Muhazi to see how the lake is protected.
They also visited some of the Club’s activities, including the Biodiversity Conservation activities and also organize a play to raise awareness on caring for the environment.
The Don Bosco Muhazi Environmental Protection Club declares that it wants to intensify its activities this year in order to obtain tangible results in the conservation of the environment and the dissemination of knowledge on environmental subject.
