Salesian Financial Accountants in Rwanda Refreshed on their responsibilities and improved performance
On Thursday, October 27, 2022, the Provincial Economer and PDO Director Father UFITAMAHORO Serviliena convened a meeting for Rwanda based accountants and the financial management of the Planning and Development Office (PDO) to reflect together on the financial management and chart wayforward for the improved performance among the financial Team.
The meeting was held at the salesian provincial house in Kigaliand brought together the accountants of Don Bosco in Rwanda as well as the provincial accountants.
Father UFITAMAHORO Servilien, opening this meeting, called on the accountants of salesian communities in Rwanda to work hard and work together and have a social media platform to discuss their daily progress in order to achieve their goals and help each other and to know where one can ask for the intervention whenever he/she encounters some challenges.
Father UFITAMAHORO explained that where the world has reached today requires cooperation between workers to increase productivity and improve performance.
He also encouraged them to know the plans of activities that are being done around the salesian communities and gave them the example of the agricultural project that is being done in Gatenga that their participation should be seen in the implementation of that project.
Ringuyeneza Fidel, the provincial accountant reminded communities accountants
- to submit a quarterly report on time so that they can provide advice and correct the errors on time,
- Communication need to be improved from the Community to the Province
- Communities are requested to ask advice when in need on different cases related to finance such as in the Treatment of production Consumed among others.
The provincial accountants were assured to get support in their daily activity, advocacy for a favorable work environment and quick support using Anydesk app and other IT Tools that can ease the collaboration despite the distance.
