Modern Solar Energy System Installed at Palabek Community

The community of Don Bosco Palabek has successfully completed the installation of a modern solar energy system. This milestone infrastructure project was financed through the generous support of the Salesian Mission-New Rochelle Procure.

The state-of-the-art system is equipped with 16 high-quality lithium batteries, 60 solar panels ensuring the community has a reliable and sustainable power supply.

Brother Hubert Twagirayezu, the Economer of the Community, highlighted the technological advancements of the new setup. “The system is so modern,” he explained. “It’s using the lithium batteries… 16 batteries. So the system has enough capacity to produce what is needed”.

A standout feature of the new installation is its remote management capabilities. Brother Twagirayezu noted that the system could be monitored and operated entirely online. “We can control it via internet,” he stated. “Even if you are [in the] US, you can control the way it works”.

The project represents a significant step forward in improving the community’s daily operations and overall infrastructure.

Expressing his gratitude to the donors who made the project possible, Brother Twagirayezu shared, “This is to even try to make the place more better. So thank you very much for your support”.
