JSO Meeting in Burundi

On monday,13th December 2023, Don Bosco Job Service Office (JSO) held a 5 days exchange meeting between N-JSO and L-JSO in Burundi with the aim of planning for the national and local activities, sharing and documenting good practices
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Center Father Jean Paul Ndayikenkurukiye, N-JSO Claude Nsengiyumva, L-JSO Potien Munyarukundo from Rukago and Director of CFP Buterere Father Calixte Ukwitesetse.
The Director of the Center Father Jean Paul NDAYIKENGURUTSE opened the meeting and asked the participants to follow the meeting carefully so that what they learn will be useful for their centers.
He said, “Follow what you are learning carefully because we expect great results from this meeting.”
“The expected outcome of this meeting is that those who attend the meeting will be able to properly organize activities that will help the youth in Don Bosco TVET Schools” He said
He adds that “they will look together at what has not gone well, the obstacles they have encountered and how to solve them, they will know what is needed in the labor market so that they can give needed skills so that young people are able to compete on the labour market.”
