St. Joseph Vocational Training Centre – Kamuli Celebrating Excellence at the 10th Graduation Ceremony on 19th June 2026

The 10th Graduation Ceremony marks a significant milestone in the history of St. Joseph Vocational Training Centre Kamuli, celebrating a decade of academic achievement, innovation, and transformation.

This special occasion brought together graduates, parents, faculty members, distinguished guests led by Rt. Rev. Lawrence Mukasa; Bishop of Kasana- Luweero Diocese as Chief Guest and Mr. Kawanguzi Geoffrey -Deputy Executive Secretary Finance HR and Administration UVTAB  and other stakeholders to honor the hard work, dedication, and resilience of the graduating class of 2023 – 2024 and 2024-2025.

Graduation is more than the awarding of National certificates and informal certificates; it is a celebration of perseverance, growth, and the pursuit of knowledge. The graduates being honored today have successfully navigated academic challenges, acquired valuable skills, and demonstrated commitment to their personal and professional development. Their accomplishments reflect not only individual determination but also the support and guidance provided by Salesian community, instructors, mentors, families, friends, partners and sponsors.

St. Joseph Vocational Training Centre Kamuli sent out 399 graduates (173 female & 226 male) reflecting on its journey of nurturing competent professionals in different trades, responsible citizens, and future leaders of different companies and factories. Over the years, the institution has continued to expand its academic programs, strengthen research and innovation, and contribute to national and global development through quality TVET education.

This year’s graduation theme, “Empowering skills in female and male youth, teen mothers, transforming the future” underscores the importance of preparing graduates to thrive in an ever-changing world. The graduates are entering a dynamic environment that demands creativity, adaptability, ethical leadership, and lifelong learning. Equipped with knowledge and practical skills, they are well-positioned to make meaningful contributions to their communities and professions.

The ceremony also serves as an opportunity to recognize outstanding academic performers and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and service. Their achievements inspire fellow graduates and reaffirm the institution’s commitment to excellence.
