JSOs Meet in Kigali to discuss JSO quality manual guidelines

From November 10 to November 11, 2021, a two days meeting between Rwanda National Job Service Office and Local JSO coordinators from Don Bosco Muhazi, Gatenga and Rango TVET schools was convened to discuss practical guidelines  as highlighted in JSO quality manual, a document that was developed by Don Bosco Tech Africa as a coordinating body of all the Salesian Technical schools in Africa.

According to Dominique Uwarugira, the National JSO coordinator, such meetings will be held on a regular basis to update the Local Job Services Offices as part of strengthening this body which is set to contribute a lot in connecting the trained young people to the job market.

Dieudone Kwizera, the Director of Studies at Don Bosco Rango TVET School who is also the JSO Coordinator in the same school said that the meeting was very important since it serves as an opportunity to look together at how they would link the quality of the courses offered to students to the labour market needs.
