Italy: Participation of the DON BOSCO AGL PDO in the Expert Training hosted by APRO FORMAZIONE

Alba/Italy, Province of Cuneo, Piedmont Region: From 22^nd June, 2026, The PDO Director and Provincial Economer Father Servilien UFITAMAHORO, is participating in the Expert Training in Italy at APRO FORMAZIONE’S FACILITIES in Alba (Cuneo).

Don Bosco AGL PDO is invited as one of the Partners organizations of the European Project titled “SUSTAIN-IT” funded by the EACEA under the ERASMUS Program.

The primary objective of the meeting is to strengthen the professional competences of teachers in key thematic areas of SUSTAIN-IT project, including the fundamentals of the Internet of Things (IOT), digital devices, Arduino, Sensors, and data visualization.

These theoretical and practical sessions are essential to ensure a solid understanding of environmental education through digitalization.

The training will provide the partners with valuable opportunity to directly observe the materials, software, equipment, and pedagogical approaches use in Italy within Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.

This hands on skills will enable participants to more effectively transfer and integrate the acquired knowledge and methodologies into their respective Training Centres.
