Italian Architect students in Rwanda to visit salesian Centres for possible projects design

A group of Architecture students from the University of Reggio Calabria in Italy are in Rwanda to visit Salesian Centres to get an overview of the Salesian infrastructures which will help them to develop projects that will help Salesians of Don Bosco in the long-term planning for the development of infrastructures in AGL Province.

In a short Interview which took place on Tuesday, 10 May 2022 at Provincial House in Kigali, Alessandro Villari, Researcher in Landscape Architecture who also belongs to the Department of Arts of the ‘Mediterranean’ University of Reggio Calabria said that the group is in Rwanda to do projects for the Salesians of Don Bosco.

He said that they have done such initiatives in many African countries such as in Senegal, Kenya, Ghana, etc…

“We made a big project for the community of Ghana which aimed at supporting Women Cooperative gathering more 1360 women. And also, today we are here to look at the country, cross the territory of Rwanda to see the sites from where we can do the projects.” He said

“The projects will be done by the students and after finalizing them, these projects will be given to the community of Don Bosco.” Alessandro explains.
