Don Bosco Vocational Training Center Palabek Hosts Two-Day Job Readiness Bootcamp in Collaboration with SENDEA Institute
Palabek, August 21, 2025 — Don Bosco Vocational Training Center Palabek, in partnership with SENDEA Institute, organized a two-day bootcamp aimed at preparing students for successful entry into the workforce. The intensive training, held on August 20-21, 2025, was attended by 43 students from the departments of Solar, Electrical, and Agriculture.
The bootcamp covered a range of key topics crucial for job readiness, including self-analysis, business management, marketing, financial management, and bookkeeping. The training aimed to equip students with practical skills to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial potential.

In his opening remarks, Principal Br. Hubert Twagirayezu urged students to make the most of this opportunity. “Use this training wisely and put in effort. The support you receive is to help you grow and change both your life and that of your family,” he emphasized.
This initiative is part of the Gender Matters for Green TVET programme, which aims to promote gender equality and empower youth through technical and vocational education. The program continues to support skills development initiatives that prepare young people for sustainable livelihoods and active participation in the economy.
