Children in Rwanda Celebrate Academic Achievements Thanks to Don Bosco Sponsorship Program
Rwanda — Primary school children supported by the Salesians of Don Bosco’s Turin Sponsorship Program in Rwanda celebrated the successful conclusion of the 2024–2025 academic year with a special event marking their final reports. The program, which benefits vulnerable children across Burundi, Rwanda, and Uganda, has played a vital role in ensuring that many students in Rwanda can continue their education despite financial hardships.
During the event, children enthusiastically received their final academic reports, expressing pride in their progress and improved results. Many students shared their stories of growth and achievement, attributing their success to the continued support of their sponsors. With beaming smiles, they appreciated the opportunity to learn and grow without the burden of financial constraints.
The Turin Sponsorship Program provides essential assistance by covering school fees, materials, and basic needs, allowing children to focus on their studies and pursue their dreams. This support is especially important in vulnerable communities, where access to quality education can be limited.
The event highlighted the significance of long-term educational support in transforming lives and communities. Families and children expressed heartfelt gratitude to their sponsors for making it possible to stay in school and build a brighter future.
As the school year ends, the success stories emerging from this program reinforce the impact of sustained sponsorship. It is a powerful reminder that investing in education can change lives and uplift entire communities across Rwanda and beyond.
