94 young people graduated at Don Bosco TVET Buterere

It was a day of great celebration when 94 young people graduated at Don Bosco TVET Buterere, Burundi – AGL Province on March 11, 2023.

The ceremony was graced by dignitaries from the Ministry of Education and the Head of PAAJ, an organization that helps young people set up self-development activities through cooperatives of Ntahangwa in Bujumbura.

In his address, Fr. Callixte Ukwitegetse Director of the Centre underscored that with this accomplishment the graduates now have the chance to advance to university up to the doctorate level.

Don Bosco TVET Centre Buterere, although managed by the Salesians of Don Bosco, follows the country’s educational system, and its teachers are paid by the government. Thus, the management of the institution requested the government to sponsor young people to study at the institution just as they do in public institutions.
